By creating an account or using ScriptDen ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

ScriptDen is a screenplay analysis tool that parses uploaded scripts and produces visual breakdowns such as scene timelines, character interaction graphs, sentiment heatmaps, locations, and emoji storyboards. All analyses are generated automatically using client-side heuristics and rule-based parsing. No script content is sent to external AI services or third-party model providers.

• You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use ScriptDen.

You agree not to:

• Upload scripts or other content you do not own or have permission to use.
• Upload illegal, infringing, harmful, or abusive content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service.
• Use the Service to build a competing product or train machine-learning models.
• Share your account credentials with others.

You retain all rights to the scripts and materials you upload. You grant ScriptDen a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, and transmit your content solely to operate the Service for you. We do not claim ownership over your work.

The ScriptDen software, design, and trademarks remain our property.

• Free plan — one script upload (lifetime), view-only access to analyses, no exports.
• Pro Monthly — $9/month, unlimited uploads, full analysis suite (pacing, sentiment, representation, sides), and PDF, CSV, and Fountain exports.
• Pro Annual — $90/year (2 months free), same features as Pro Monthly.
• Subscribers on prior pricing remain on their original price for as long as their subscription stays active.
• Subscriptions auto-renew each month until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; access remains until the end of the current billing period.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable for partial periods.
• We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice; changes take effect at the next renewal.

Analyses are generated by automated, heuristic rules running locally in your browser. They may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or misinterpretations. ScriptDen's output is a creative aid — not professional, legal, or production advice. Always review results before relying on them.

You may stop using ScriptDen and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a security, legal, or operational risk. On termination, your access ends and your data is removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that analyses will be accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScriptDen and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of ScriptDen is established. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
